South Trail

The South Trail is a 2.3 Mile shell rock and sand foot trail. It actually extends across Sheridan Street and is better explored with a bicycle. The terrain is rugged and it gets very hot during summer!

Most of the trail is composed of mangroves and the invasive exotic Australian Pine. Every now and then, colorful Wildflowers were found.

Small Stream

Here we see a small stream running across a mud flat with some mangroves growing along side.
