Here are some arial views from the centers' 68 foot, 5 level observation tower. We can see the dense Mangrove forests and the Lake Observation Trail boardwalk weaving it's way through the vegetation.

Here we are on the Lake Observation Trail boardwalk. This is a 1,231 foot recycled boardwalk trail. On either side, Black and Red Mangroves are the dominating trees.

If you walk slowly and quietly, you can see many small animals. I caught this raccoon searching for fiddler crabs in the mud right next to the boardwalk. The small mangrove crab was actually on the boardwalk. He was a little bit shy and would not look at my camera!
