Cabbage Palm Trail

 

The CABBAGE PALM TRAIL is the eastern most point of the trails. The Cabbage Palm is the Florida State tree. It's truck can be covered with moss or ferns.

 

"Solution holes" like these are common in Florida's landscape. They occur when acidic leaf material mixes with rainwater and dissolves the limestone below.
